Why Talk More? Series: Learning

18 04 2010

On the 454 home from Indooroopilly, two girls who looked like uni students, got on and I couldn’t help but overhear their conversation.  A fascinating talk about boys and dating, about being friends first or not, about parents reactions to dates and about inter-cultural dating.

It resonated with a lot of my own personal life – I felt like saying ”thanks girls, thanks for the advice”.

That’s the power of conversation and talking.  Whether we are actively in it or overhearing it.

We learn from conversations.
